About Me
I put a post together (the first ever) that talks about me. But if you missed it this is me:
I’m currently 28 years old (as of Aug. 30, 2006). I’ve recently come to accept the fact that I’m just average. Most of my life I’ve been told and had believed I was extrodinarily talented. I never lived up to the expectations of me. I always thought it was laziness, but it’s not; I’m just average; the bar was just set too high.
I went to a Slippery Rock University, a state-school. It’s not a bad school, but it’s also not ivy-league. I was a C student, and I didn’t finish. I ran out of money - which will happen when it takes you six years to get through school.
Don’t get me wrong, I still reach for the stars, but now I know I’ll never get any of them except maybe Alpha Centari - the closest star to the Earth. I’ll still work hard for my company, but only after I gain full consciousness - which is probably at about 11:30am. I still golf, but I’m satisfied shooting 95; I know now I’ll never be any better. I’ve been engaged to my fiance for almost five years now, which should tell you something.
Why the Average White Guy? Well, I’m white. If I were black, this site would be called the Average Black Guy. Albino: The Average Really White Guy. I’m not a racist. Let’s not stir an empty pot here. I called it what it is, nothing more; nothing less; just average.
There are some things which aren’t average in my life: My fiance, Natalie (who should be my wife by now), my house, which I worked hard on, but it didn’t come out better than mediocre, my 2006 Mustang (which I didn’t do anything too..it was just built cool.), my guitar collection (11 of them so far), and my pets - who aren’t normal. Everyone has certain extraordinary stuff in their lives like I do, but that’s normal, average.
