First… Thanks for the well-written reply; I always enjoy good comments.

Second… Up yours. You and the rest of you guilt-tripping morons who think “going green” is for anything but lining the pockets of those who instill the fear in the first place can kiss my republican, pro-industry, pro-corporation, fossil-fuel consuming, energy-loving, antisocialist ass.

You cornholes can’t ever see forest, all you ever see are the trees. Think about this for a second… All this green BS, the housing market woes, the money market woes, the current state of international affairs are all linked together. The people who perpetrate the lies about the environment are also the people who have put fear into the consumer markets, and started the collapse of the financial world. Republicans, democrats, independants… it makes no difference; they’re all ripping us off. Stop voting for the folks who are in it for their own best interests and elect real leaders.

Today’s democratic party - including guys like Frock Obama, Al Whore, Harry Peed, and Nancy Blow-me - are followers, not leaders. When you understand that, you’ll understand why it was wrong to call me “ignorant”, jackass.

“ratchet it up” - as in we have to get better at what we do.

“bang away” - until we find the problem

“vid-con” - monthly video conference

“get a few heads together” - have a meeting (usually for meeting’s sake, and nothing gets decided)

Hey, guess what… India and China dont hold half the earth’s population (more like 37%), they do sell and use hybrid vehicles, and you’re current vehicle is not a hybrid just because it has an alternator. There is no mechanical energy derived from the electrical output of the alternator other than firing the spark. A hybrid transfers electric energy to actually turn the wheels. So… you are obviously another person who comes to their own conclusions without proper research, and therefore, you’re opinion isn’t valid to those of us who do the research, and you also make those who share your opinion look bad.

I know “they” exaggerate the consequences of not recycling or being energy conscious; but there are serious potential consequences. I recycle, but I have never knowingly eaten anything “100% organic”, and I don’t live in a straw hut. There are plenty of financial benefits to recycling as well.

User Eddie House: look up Presidential Executive order 13101, and show it to your city’s government.

Inasmuch as I don’t know you compared to your knowledge of the “green movement”, I can accurately state that “the average white guy” is ignorant.

Agree 100%, the hippies are out of their lanes and I would get a chuckle if the whaling ship opened fire on the hippie boat.

I could only shake my head when one of the hippies said “This is the most important thing I’ve done in my life.” WOW!!!

That’s a bad ass idea - I love it.

Also, we need to do urine testing for those who receive welfare and handouts. If I have to take a drug test to earn money, they should at least have to take a drug test to receive any sort of government handout.

I agree with you, I want a white christmas. The last” big snow storm” I can remember was back in 93 and boy did we get alot then. I hope it happens soon I want my kids to enjoy the snow like I did growing up.

I remember living in the ‘burgh and getting those storms. I never see anything like that now that I am in Philly. To close to the oceans I guess. I hope you get the white Christmas you want.
